CRACKING THE OVARIAN CANCER CODE

The most lethal kind of cancer among women is expected to be ovarian cancer. According to the event which was held at the central library this is because the symptoms are general, there is no single treatment for that (unlike mammograms for breast cancer), and when the disorder is detected, it is frequently at a more advanced phase.
In an interview with a registered nurse and clinical coordinator for the ovarian tumor surgical program at the City Hall library event "Cracking the ovarian cancer code" said, “It’s something I don't think a lot of women necessarily know about."
Due to this, nurses believe it's crucial for those who have female reproductive organs to be aware of the risks. Despite a greater level of survival, few females are getting the disease's diagnosis. Dr. Blank said that there has been a reduction in the number of new ovarian cancer cases, with rates decreasing by about 3.3% per year. Dr. Blank ascribed a part of this drop in incidence to advancements in a specific type of test that helps define females who are more likely to develop ovarian cancer as a consequence of biological factors.
The causes of ovarian cancer are ovarian cancer risk is reduced by both childbearing as well as using pills for birth control. ovulation and the possibility of developing ovarian cancer may be linked in some manner since both of these factors diminish the regularity with which the ovary produces an egg (ovulation).
